OUR VISION
SEEKING RENEWAL IN OUR CITY
Our vision comes from Colossians 3:3 (NLT) “For you died to this life and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.” As a church we are seeking out all the hidden riches found in a love relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This happens after we first accept the finished work of Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our personal sins & the sins of all mankind. This is good news that God through Jesus Christ has reconciled his people and renewed his creation through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. The power of the gospel brings spiritual, relational, and cultural renewal, and we desire to see this grand vision realized in the City Of Bellflower.
SPIRITUAL RENEWAL
In Bellflower we see people being reconciled to God and given new hearts through the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sin and shame will no longer have the final word. People will be spiritually renewed & become sons and daughters of God.
RELATIONAL RENEWAL
In Bellflower we see people reconciled to one another and brought into a new family. Broken relationships will be healed & renewed. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we become brothers and sisters in Christ.
OUR MISSION
MAKING DISCIPLES IN OUR CITY
The church’s mission is to make disciples of Jesus through sharing our faith as commanded by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.” As a redeemed community grounded in Scripture, we do everything for the purpose of loving God, one another, and our city.
LOVING GOD
Disciples of Jesus delight in knowing, loving, and glorifying God above all else. As sons and daughters of God, we grow in our relationship with the Lord by daily turning from sin, trusting in our Savior, and living by the power of the Holy Spirit.
LOVING ONE ANOTHER
Disciples of Jesus follow Christ together in community. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we pray, study God’s word, care for one another, and reach out to our neighbors.
LOVING OUR CITY
Disciples of Jesus love their neighbors and their city. As stewards and servants, we proclaim the gospel, and bless the city through our serving, individual gifts and vocations.
