Hello, my name is Leonardo Figueroa. I am the youngest of 3 boys born to Raul & Lidya Figueroa who was raised in Cerritos C.A.. I go by my nickname “Fish”, which was given to me at a young age by my cousin because I was always in a pool or Body Boarding during the summer. In 1992, at the age of 18, I gave my life to Christ at my youth group and shortly thereafter I became a youth group leader. In 1998 I met a beautiful girl named Rhonda, who would steal my heart with her love for Jesus, while attending the young adults group at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs in Diamond Bar. Just a few years later, in 2001, we were married and soon became the proud parents of 3 amazing boys, Isaiah, Josiah, & Uriah.

Our marriage hasn’t always been perfect, much like everyone else, and after seven years I confessed to my wife of a deep personal struggle with pornography that I had for most of my life. Needless to say, this destroyed Rhonda & it nearly destroyed our marriage. But by the grace of God, The Lord restored our marriage and today we enjoy counseling & sharing our powerful testimony of God’s love & restoration with couples who are facing challenges in their marriages.

Years later, in 2010 on the same spot I stood to surrender my life to Christ years before as a High School kid, I would now stand to minster to 100’s of High School teenagers for 8 years as their youth pastor. In September of 2017 I began a home bible study, in Lakewood, which then led me to take a step of faith to pioneer a church, and on Mother’s Day May 13, 2018 “Realife Calvary Was Born”. We held our 1st service at Willow Elementary in Lakewood C.A. and have been growing since. On June 1, 2025 God opened the door for our church to move to my hometown in Cerritos California. My family and I are so excited to be a part of Gods work and we wanna personally invite you to come visit us. We can’t wait to meet you and your family and we look forward to growing in Christ together.
